Covid 19 Na vet

When it comes to physical gatherings, we are being proactive and we take the health and safety of our church and community very seriously. The church is not a building, but a people, and when we gather anywhere together Jesus is with us.

Thursday, March 19

With all that is happening in our culture, we want to continue communicating with you. Leaders are currently being advised to be vigilant in an attempt to suppress the spread of COVID-19 over the coming weeks. In an effort to cooperate with these directives, as a church body we will be taking these steps:

01. There will be no services or activities at Coram Deo for the foreseeable future.

02. We are advising that Missional Communities gather virtually instead of physically for the foreseeable future.

Our desire to do this does not arise out of fear but from a desire to see our community flourish and remain safe. We believe that compliance with these steps will allow us to impact change in our corner of the world. Having said this, the Coram Deo met this week to create a plan that will help us Grow, Serve, and Connect in the upcoming days. This involves creative ideas about Sunday services, caring for each other and those in need within the community, and staying connected to Coram Deo. We still need a couple more days to finalize some of those plans so I will be in touch with you on Thursday regarding information about the weekend, community groups, and the plans for the upcoming weeks. Let’s continue to be smart but courageous as we pray for God’s kingdom to flourish in this time of crisis.

In Christ,

Dustin Hunt
